Pimping and Preview

Friends,

You might enjoy Title Page TV, which is a roundtable discussion about books, advertising new books and related themes. It is led by the guy I saw at AWP who just thoroughly shit the bed when it came to his panel. He was the "literary interview" I watched that was supposed to cover things like "compromises authors must make to be published" but instead talked more about his childhood and that he worked as an editor (no insight, just talked about his job like a telemarketer would).

Also, later I'll post something about the Li-Young Lee Q&A I went to. I got an interesting answer to that question I have about whether or not he feels obligated to reading something everyone knows, or mostly new stuff. I'll get into that business later.
