Road House Blues

Before I get into the business at hand, I want to tell The Ghost of Nostradamustache that I bought him a gift today and I will hold onto it until he arrives back in Minnesota in the coming weeks. It wasn't an expensive gift, but it's sure is nice.

Okay, the business at hand? The cast of Road House is having a real bad time lately.

First, noted actor, musician and the best damn cooler in the business, Patrick Swayze was announced to have pancreatic cancer. And today I learned that Jeff Healy, blind musician who was in Road House, died of cancer at 41.

So, this goes out to the families of Terry Funk, Marshall R. Teague, Keith David, Ben Gazzara, Kevin Tighe (the guy who played John Locke's/Sawyer's dad on Lost)....be careful. Especially you, Sam Elliott, BOMM Lifetime Achievement Award Winner and namesake. Road House is looking to be a jinxed feature these days, so stay healthy cast and crew of Road House.
