Graduate School Decision Made

Emily has accepted her admission to the University of Wisconsin's Library Science program. She mailed in the form today. It's the Madison campus, and I've heard that's a good town, but parking is supposed to be a nightmare. Going to be nice to live in a place with more outlets for live music, though.

So, we are on our way to Wisconsin. However, barring some interesting turn of events with another school, like say a free ride with University of North Carolina or Denver, then we're off there. But, if everything stays the same, we are going to the land of cheese and fireworks.

However, there is other grad news to report. Emily has heard that, in spite of apparently being bad at managing records, Emily has been accepted to LSU. We have yet to get the official letter, but she heard from the department there she was recommended for admission to the graduate school.

So, here's the breakdown now:

Where We're Bound:

University of Wisconsin

Those Who Said Yes:

Simmons College

University of South Carolina

Denver University

Louisiana State University

University of Southern Mississippi

Those Who Are Silent:

University of North Carolina

Those Who Said No:

University of Michigan

viva wisconsin!
