Bad Music Sunday

Friends,

Strap on those headphones, get out the acid washed jeans (tight rolled, natch) and enjoy another Bad Music Sunday:

Yes - Owner of a Lonely Heart

Chris Rea - I Can Hear Your Heartbeat
Found turd

Lita Ford - Close My Eyes Forever (ft. Ozzy Ozbourne)
I could have sworn I had this on Bad Music Sunday before, but I just completed the encyclopedia of all the songs I've had on here, and I'll be damned, if I did not do it before today. So...

White Lion - Wait

Bulletboys - Smooth Up In Ya
Found turd...and it is glorious

Winger - Seventeen
Oh, a rockin tribute to statutory rape...but thsi girl would be a little too old for Humpert Humpert though

Public Image Limited - Rise

I must say that the Public Image Limited song really makes me wish that the Sex Pistols had taken advantage of synthesizers. It could have been a whole different world.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Owner of a Lonely Heart? Bad Music Sunday? Are you serious?

Re: Rise by PIL...

Does NOT belong on a bad music list! Not bad music Sunday, not bad music any day of the week. For anger is, truly, an energy.

As with the Yes song, yeah, there are weaker Yes tracks, like Roundabout, and I have some fond memories of singing that song as a kid, but cleverly changing the lyrics to "owner of a broken fart." So, I understand the love of that song, and the resistance...but, you know, you single guys may not know it yet, but sometimes, just sometimes, when the wife says, "that's a bad song you should..." you just buckle down and do it.
