Stupid Cheap Weather Stripping

here's a picture of the weather stripping emily (with a superficial assist from me) affixed to our bedroom window. it may be hard to see, but we had to tape it away from the window some to account for more of the cracks around the window, but notice how the plastic sheeting is billowed out like a full sail. it's ridiculous.
