Emily Chooses Her Beverage

ma'am, would you like to try a refreshing, unique tamarind soda from goya. tasks strangely of banana, and without any monkeyhouse-smell flavor. a true delicacy of carbonation...

emily: i would prefer not to.

very well, madam, what about this fine bubbly cola, a class above all, so fine it should be served in a glass wearing a bow-tie. and it tastes a lot like vess cream soda. madam, will this be the one to quench your thirst?

emily: no doubt, holmes.

For Bronson: Big ones?

For anybody: if Emily is preferring not to, who do I get to call Ginger Nut?

When we were in Roger's Teaching Creative Writing class, we read "Hills Like White Elephants" out loud. Bronson volunteered me for the part of the woman, so I volunteered him for the part of the waitress. His shining moment was the line "Big ones?" after Jon Surdo (I think that's who read the man's part) said, "Dos cervesas" or whatever the line is.
