I'm sitting here, listening to an old This American life and they referenced the below commericial in it. It reminded me of how awesome (yeah, awesome, I said it) that I thought this commericial was. I remember it. I even remember the hauntingly unfunny parody of it in Scary Move 2. And, you know, this commericial is six years old. Does it feel that old to you? Does it hold up? (oh, and this has a mustache or two in it as well).

This commercial makes me rethink all of my life's decisions up to this point. And it opens up a serious question, has america fallen behind in the lucrative sneaker assembly business. Our children have little hands too and I refuse to believe that some kid in vietnam or china or some other place can build a better sneaker than a good old american kid!
Boo Nike! As the nation's lawns grow smaller and big corporate kids are mowing more and more lawns leaving our youth unemployed, we need to get that can-do sweatshop mentality back!!!
Fuck yeah! Up with sweatshops! USA! USA! USA!
