Friends,
Below is a video from TitlePage.tv, a book discussion website that puts out a new episode once and a while. I'm not sure how often because it's not quite once a week, and seems more often than once a month, but whatever the schedule, I'll embed the video below.
This episode features all first time authors. Two novelists, one novel-length memoirist, and the other the essay-variety memoirist.
And here's their ad for the third episode of this internet show.
You know, I still think it was pretty douchey what this host pulled at AWP, but this program is starting to grow on me just enough to keep me interested.
Also, on the Blog part of TitlePage.tv, they have this post, about a book called Crazy `08: How a Cast of Cranks, Rogues, Boneheads, and Magnates Created the Greatest Year in Baseball History. This book is about the 1908 baseball season and how, according to the title, it was the greatest baseball season of all time. While Cub fans might agree, we, St. Louis Cardinals fans disagree...see, 1908 was the only time in StL history that they lost 100 games...but this book sounds interesting just the same.
