Okay, you may not know the name of the person who died in the title of this post, but he is/was a big deal. Don't believe me? Well, go over to your bookshelf, take out your copy of The Book of Laughter and Forgetting and look who translated it.
Chances are your copy of the book was translated by Aaron Asher. So the man who brought Kundera's French novel to we Americans passed away. Read the NY Times article here.
