Well, here's the only ones we care about:

Yes, there are two poetry winners this year, and the other one who was nominated but lost was Messenger: New & Selected Poems by Ellen Bryant Voight
SPECIAL CITATION

Because, according to the Pulitzer people: For his profound impact on popular music and American culture, marked by lyrical compositions of extraordinary poetic power.
You can read the rest of the awards here by clicking these words. Were you aware that they only get $10,000 for winning the Pulitzer? You'd think it would be more than that.
Anyway, I know what you're thinking...who is this Pulitzer fellow. Well, Wikipedia says that Joseph Pulitzer was born in Hungary, served in the Civil War then settled in St. Louis, Missouri to run a German language newspaper. After being in the Missouri State Assembly, he eventually bought the St. Louis Post and the St. Louis Dispatch, merged the two and in 1879 the St. Louis Post-Dispatch was born and thus began Pulitzer's rise to prominence in America.
That's all.

So you have a shot at being the next "big shot" writer out of the St.Louis area. Maybe they will rename the award decades from now and call it "The Johnson Award".
Of course it is possible that the award already exists in a certain video industry but here's to you!
