El Norte?

Friends,

Would you try to get a job in Anchorage, Alaska? I mean, all your family and everyone you care about is decidedly not in Anchorage, Alaska, but, hell, same with a majority of Americans, so maybe the fact it's 48 hours from everywhere is a notch in your favor in trying to land a job in Anchorage, Alaska.

What do you think?

By the way, here's a picture of Anchorage and a link with more photos.

In all honesty, I would move to Anchorage. In fact, if I'm being honest, I'd love to get a job in Anchorage. Especially now that girl-Bush isn't their governor anymore.

Word verification: plooden. I just like that word. I can't decide if it's some kind of weird pet name--like "Want me to clear the table, Plooden?"--or an adjective that describes some kind of gnarled, gangrenous growth--like "After the accident, his leg was totally plooden and mangled."

Plooden: slang for "nemesis."

No way. Not until they get a MLB team.

It depends: how well do you do with cold weather?

For me, I couldn't move farther north than the Twin Cities.

You can keep an eye on Russia from up there. And it would make you one tough, polar bear eating son of a bitch.
