Mustache Plagiarism!

Okay, BOMM was not the first pro-mustache group on the block. With a little research, you might be able to find other websites or something that came in pre-BOMM darkness. However, BOMM was created and we exist. We live and thrive in our micro-corner of the internet tubing. And while all of the posts don't seem to directly relate to mustache anymore, everything posted here has to do with me. Since I am a staunch pro-mustache person, I believe that everything I say on this blog has some inherent mustachieness to it. Take the ongoing mass wedding posts. I am providing my take on that unique situation, but since I did it, there is a distinct mustache flavor to the reportage and essayism. It may not be right in your face like a good mustache would be, but it's lurking there, informing my decisions as a writer.



Now, why make a big deal out of this. Well, through some divine providence I found this site: American Mustache Institute .



Okay, good for them. I'm happy that more people out there are taking an interest in the `stache, and that some of them know how to obtain and build a sweet looking website. They also seem to have some ability to organize events, as they will be throwing something called `Stache Bash 2007 in St. Louis, MO and at the drinking establishment of one of BOMM's former award winners, Al Hrabosky. (Read that post here) Good for them. A seriously good bang up job.

But, the AMI are fuckers. Oh yes, deep dark dirty fuckers. The kind of fucker who opens his/her car door real wide and puts dings in your car door (so they are very similar in their fuckerdom to my neighbors). See, these fuckers got a list of other mustache related blogs and websites on their site. Since BOMM exists, and existed PRIOR to the AMI (they began this year, BOMM is going on year three)...you'd think this humble blog would get a mention.

Does it? No. Not one bit. So, AMI...quit being fuckers. You've been warned, and I will strip you of your mustache, just like I have done to that sex offender, John Bolton, and I think two other people.
