Moving A Rubber Tree Plant

Another thing about this first day of teaching business: I had my students do this little writing assignment, something fun, silly, just to loosen them up a little. For those in the know, it was that Exquisite Corpse writing activity, and in one of the steps you have to write an article and an adjective. Like "The slimy" or "An orange" you get the idea.

Well, one student, bless her, after I pronounced that adjective step, leaned to her friend and said, "What's an adjective?"

Yep.
