I expect to hear some tales of Richard Ford's visit to Mankato. Make with the good stuff. What did he read, what did he talk about during the craft talk, what did he say during lunch, who tried to make out with him at the after party (Jorge?). You know, stuff like that.

He read John Cheever's "Reunion," then he read his short story with the same title--an homage to Cheever, as Ford put it. It was pretty fucking amazing. Clisbee did a fantastic job, as well.
He was a lot of things: smart and smarter and great and wonderful and arrogant and brilliant.
